courageous citizens

The background of the play is the closure of the Thalia Theater Halle in the years 2008-2011. The dark vision of the play came true in 2012 with the closure of the Thalia Theater Halle. / Text: Jan Friedrich

Once upon a time there was a woman who had many children, each of them gifted with a special talent. She didn't know what to do; she didn't have enough food to get all of them through the winter and wanted to save as many of them as possible. Perhaps she could send the youngest child away and save the others? The loss would be immeasurable, because it could move people to tears with its stories. But what options did the mother have? At the round table you can follow this little fairy tale about the fate of the children and take part in our experiment in living democracy: discuss, fantasize, philosophize, argue and look for solutions so that no child is ever sent away from home again.
