Sam, Thekla, Lovika, Piraya and Tobias have founded a new state. A society that is different. Better. Especially for children. And so they sleep during the day and play at night, which is much more exciting and braver anyway. One night a newcomer sleepwalks across the border...

"Republic of Children" is a parable about power and violence. As radical as children are, it raises the question of what we would be prepared to do to imagine that everything is OK. The young adults from schauspiel ü18 are taking on this challenge.
